In the new digital age, we are used to seeing average people become instant celebrities on YouTube for saying or doing something “worthy” of being retweeted, Facebook-ed or otherwise shared online and seen by millions. Most of the time, those “worthy notables” include singing babies and merengue dancing dogs. So it was nice to see Londoner Pauline “Lady P” Pierce get some shine last week for being the voice of reason in the midst of the recent riots in her community.
