For the last few years, we have been following discussions in the United States around providing rehabilitation and STEM training to convicted felons who need a second chance at life. San Quentin State Prison in California has been leading the way with the Last Mile, a nonprofit that looks at ways of reducing recidivism among prisoners through technology and entrepreneurship training.
Code 7370 is their latest project, which trains San Quentin prisoners in software and web development skills.
