E-waste continues to be a growing problem worldwide, especially in West Africa, where Ghana’s Agbogbloshie, the world’s largest digital dump, is located. In neighboring Togo, designers and innovators have come together to not only figure out a way to re-purpose e-waste, but to also create a brand new economy. Woelab was founded in 2012 by Togolese architect Sénamé Agboginou to create sustainable solutions for “low high tech.”
